The project comprises one monitoring station in Ankara to be connected with three GTH areas namely İzmit, İzmir and Mersin. Total of 24 Traffic Observation Stations in GTH areas provide various sensor information to the system.

Main aim of VTS project is;

  • To increase the security and efficiency of Sea Traffic and to monitor, organize and manage ship traffic movements with the aim of protecting sea environment,
  • To provide information on navigation assistance, and traffic organization services in one part or in whole GTH areas.

Implementation of the GTYS (Gemi Trafik Yönetim Sistemi) project continues.
